Mann+Hummel Receives GM Supplier Award

Mann+Hummel has been named a General Motors Supplier of the Year for the twelfth straight year. The award is given annually to suppliers selected by GM for their role in improving the company's performance. Suppliers are reviewed each year by a team of GM engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and logistics executives. Winners are chosen for their performance in the key areas of quality, service, technology and price.

PORTAGE, MI — Mann+Hummel has been named a General Motors Supplier of the Year for the twelfth straight year.

The award was presented to Mann+Hummel GmbH CEO Dr. Dieter Seipler during recent ceremonies at the Hilton Prague Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. Participating at the award presentation in addition to Dr. Seipler was Otmar Seehorsch, the company’s vice president of sales.

GM also recognized Mann+Hummel GmbH for being one of only two companies to have won the Supplier of the Year award every year since its inception in 1992.

The award is given annually to suppliers selected by GM for their role in improving the company’s performance. Suppliers are reviewed each year by a team of GM engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and logistics executives. Winners are chosen for their performance in the key areas of quality, service, technology and price.

This year, General Motors honored 77 suppliers for their excellence throughout the past year.
