SKF/Chicago Rawhide Launches Online Technical Program

ELGIN, IL — SKF/CR recently launched a new program created exclusively for members of its Pole Position program.

As part of the program, SKF/CR has developed an online technical hub for members of the Pole Position Program, an incentive-based training program designed to educate technicians on proper vehicle safety and maintenance.

The new SKF/CR Pole Position online community provides technicians with downloadable technical resources, self-study guides, installation and removal instructions, failure analysis data, frequently asked questions and up-to-date product information.

“The SKF/CR Pole Position online community is an extension of our ability to provide technicians with an increasingly broad range of technical information in the industry,” says Per Jacobsson, director of marketing communications, SKF/CR Americas. “Not only is SKF/CR providing technicians with a technical edge through its products and literature, but now they can access the information online. Our goal is to make SKF/CR one of the most accessible technical resources in the industry.”

The Pole Position program also provides technicians with printed technical literature, including self-study guides, installation and removal tips, failure analysis data and a periodic newsletter. SKF/CR engineers work with automotive organizations around the world, exclusively with NASCAR’s Roush Racing organization, to gather and assemble the program’s technical data.
