DALLAS, TX — The Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) is now offering private manager training courses, designed not only to meet the needs of professional technicians but also helping them overcome coming barriers to training.

The Automotive Oil Change Association is a non-profit trade organization representing the convenient automotive service industry. With an emphasis on education, the association serves as a resource for education and training for lube center business owners, managers and employees, as well as a source of information for consumers regarding the benefits of regular, preventive maintenance in protecting their automotive investment.

AOCA has more than 1,200 members representing more than 3,000 auto maintenance centers throughout the U.S., Mexico and Canada. The association also counts among its membership lube centers in Europe, the Middle East, Australia, the Far East, Central and South America.

For groups of 10 or more people, AOCA will bring the training materials and trainer to the facility and conduct a private course exclusively for employees.

The AOCA manager training courses cover a variety of topics related to building a profitable business, including: advertising, marketing and merchandising; finding, hiring and keeping quality employees; leadership training and team building; and service and maintenance.

Each registrant receives a notebook of materials in advance of each seminar that serves as a reference document and also gives each attendee the opportunity to review all the major topics and further prepare for the manager certification exam that is offered at the conclusion of the two-day seminar.

Upcoming courses will be conducted in Denver, Colo., Sept. 14-15; Columbus Ohio, Oct. 19-20; and Santa Ana, Calif., Nov. 9-10.
