MINNEAPOLIS — The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota (AASP-MN) has released its schedule of fall educational programs.
AASP-MN will host an educational program on “Inflatable Restraint Systems,” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, Minn.
The course, presented by Butch Lysholm of Occupational Air Bag Inflatable Restraint Education, will cover primary, secondary and supplemental restraints; the location, identification and deactivation of air bag systems; mechanisms of injury/fatality; crash testing; and what’s new in airbag technology.
From 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, Al McAvoy of DaimlerChrysler will present “Chrysler OBDII and Fuel Injection Systems” at Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park, Minn. The course will consist of an update on the Chrysler fuel injection system and OBDII operation and diagnosis; misfire detection and diagnosis; leak detection pump (LDP) diagnosis and service; and flash updates.
