From Tire Review Staff Reports

GREENVILLE, SC — Raben Tire Co., based in Evansville, Ind., has selected Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) for a new retread facility that will be located in Haubstadt, Ind.

The new facility adds to Raben Tire’s already established Bandag and Goodyear retreading facilities.

It also brings the number of MRT’s North American Michelin retread points of sale to 230.

The new Raben MRT facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art production machinery and will be expandable for future needs, Michelin noted in a release. Notably, it will be able to retread Michelin’s next-generation X One super wide truck tires.

Raben Tire has locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Arkansas. Most Raben Tire facilities, in addition to retreads, offer new auto tires, light truck, medium truck, farm and industrial tires and automotive services.

“Our customers not only demand a high-quality product, they demand a selection of products to meet their individual needs,” said Tom Raben, president of Raben Tire. “With the addition of Michelin retreads to our existing line up of Bandag and Goodyear retread offerings, our customers will have the benefit of valuable options to satisfy their needs.”
