AASA Names New Member Services Manager

Theresa Spera has joined the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) as its new member services manager. Spera comes to AASA from The Exceleration Group in Cary, N.C., a business consulting and market analysis organization, where she served as manager of marketing and client services.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — Theresa Spera has joined the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) as its new member services manager.

In this newly created position, Spera will be responsible for development of new programs and services to existing members. She will also coordinate regular updates of the AASA Web site, www.aftermarketsuppliers.org. Her duties will also include supervising production of the “Automotive Aftermarket Status Report,” AASA’s annual publication of information and analysis of future trends in the automotive aftermarket and membership directory.

In addition, Spera will work closely with the joint operating committee of the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), the annual trade show representing the $250 billion North American retail and service aftermarket co-sponsored by MEMA and AASA.

Spera comes to AASA from The Exceleration Group in Cary, N.C., a business consulting and market analysis organization, where she served as manager of marketing and client services. Her experience includes more than five years of consulting and project management in culture transition initiatives, process development and strategic planning. Spera has managed marketing and strategic projects for organizations in the telecommunications, airline, automotive and information technology industries.
