Ray Fisher Named VP of ASA-Michigan

Automotive service industry veteran Ray Fisher has been named vice president of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) of Michigan. Fisher has more than 27 years experience in the automotive service industry, including seven years in parts sales and management, and 20 years in the collision repair industry -- 18 of those years as a body shop manager.

PLYMOUTH, MICH — Automotive service industry veteran Ray Fisher has been named vice president of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) of Michigan.

Fisher has more than 27 years experience in the automotive service industry, including seven years in parts sales and management, and 20 years in the collision repair industry — 18 of those years as a body shop manager. He has been an active member of ASA and an active leader and officer of the West Michigan Body Shop Association, where he organized numerous events and programs for members. Fisher has also been actively involved in I-CAR training, encouraging technicians to continually develop their technical skills and professionalism. He is a regular feature writer with Fender Bender and ASA-Michigan’s Garage Key as well.

His initial responsibilities at ASA-Michigan will include membership recruitment and retention, and developing and assisting with programs for ASA members throughout Michigan.
