Behr Earns 2004 Global Supplier Award From DaimlerChrysler

Behr GmbH & Co. KG, automotive air conditioning and engine cooling systems specialist, was one of nine suppliers to receive DaimlerChrysler's Global Supplier Award for outstanding performance in 2004. Behr received the award for an interior commodity.

DETROIT — Behr GmbH & Co. KG, automotive air conditioning and engine cooling systems specialist, was one of nine suppliers to receive DaimlerChrysler’s Global Supplier Award for outstanding performance in 2004. Behr received the award for an interior commodity.

To be eligible for the award, suppliers had to be a provider to DaimlerChrysler’s Chrysler Group and Commercial Vehicles or Mercedes-Benz Car Group. Winners were chosen based on their performance in quality, cost, technology and delivery.

Behr Group is a leading manufacturer and supplier of original equipment for passenger and commercial vehicles. The company had approximately $3.6 billion in sales in 2003. Currently Behr employs about 16,900 staff at 30 development and production sites in Europe, North and South America, South Africa and Asia.
