Elgin Industries Named a Jasper Engines & Transmissions Preferred Partner for Fourth Consecutive Year

Elgin Industries, a manufacturer and marketer of engine and chassis components for automotive and heavy-duty applications, has been named a Preferred Partner for the fourth consecutive year by Jasper Engines & Transmissions. The award was presented during last night’s annual Jasper Engines & Transmissions Preferred Partners Banquet.

JASPER, IN — Elgin Industries, a manufacturer and marketer of engine and chassis components for automotive and heavy-duty applications, has been named a Preferred Partner for the fourth consecutive year by Jasper Engines & Transmissions. The award was presented during last night’s annual Jasper Engines & Transmissions Preferred Partners Banquet.

Jasper is a remanufacturer of drive-train components, including gas and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, alternate fuel engines, performance products, and marine products. The Preferred Partner award is presented annually to Jasper’s “Partners in Success” based on a variety of criteria, including product quality, service, fill rate, response time to a problem, and billing/credit procedures.

Elgin Industries was one of only seven Jasper suppliers to be presented the award this year. Winners were selected from the more than 3,000 firms doing business with Jasper.

In accepting the Preferred Partner award, Elgin Industries President William Skok presented Jasper executives with a banner signed by Elgin’s manufacturing workforce. The banner read, “Doing it Right & Having Fun.”

“We’re very proud to stand among the elite manufacturing partners to Jasper Engines & Transmissions,” Skok said. “Jasper’s quality and service expectations are at the very core of our own business, and everyone in our organization understands and embraces them.”
