Monroe ‘Safe All-Around’ Campaign to Reward Consumers for Getting New Shocks and Struts

Tenneco Automotive's Monroe brand is backing its 50,000-mile ride control service recommendation with a promotion that will reward qualifying consumers with comeback certificates valued up to $80 and entries into a grand-prize sweepstakes.

MONROE, MI — Tenneco Automotive’s Monroe brand is backing its 50,000-mile ride control service recommendation with a promotion that will reward qualifying consumers with comeback certificates valued up to $80 and entries into a grand-prize sweepstakes.

The Monroe “Safe All-Around” promotion, which runs through April 30, enables vehicle owners to earn “comeback certificates” for future automotive services simply by having their worn shocks or struts replaced with premium Monroe Sensa-Trac, Monroe Reflex or Monroe Gas-Magnum products. The promotion is available through thousands of U.S. automotive service providers.

In addition to comeback certificates, participants are eligible to enter a free sweepstakes drawing for one of 25 awarded 100,000-mile airline “frequent flier” packages. No purchase is necessary for sweepstakes participation.

“Monroe is committed to helping consumers protect their driving safety by recommending ride control inspections and replacing worn shocks and struts as soon as possible,” said Ric Alameddine, vice president marketing, North America aftermarket group. “The “Safe All-Around” promotion will reward consumers for completing this important automotive maintenance before the summer driving season. Replacing worn ride control components helps restore the steering, stopping and stability characteristics of their vehicles.”

Consumers purchasing four Sensa-Trac or Reflex struts from a participating service dealer during the promotion will qualify for an $80 comeback certificate for future automotive services. The purchase of two Sensa-Trac or Reflex shocks and two Sensa-Trac or Reflex struts will qualify for a $60 comeback certificate. A $20 comeback certificate will be awarded to qualifying consumers purchasing four Sensa-Trac, Reflex, or Gas-Magnum shock absorbers.
