LANSDALE, PA — The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide has created a new poster promoting professional mobile air conditioning service and repair as a responsible practice for preserving the stratospheric ozone layer and climate.
The 17” x 22” poster features penguins adrift at sea on a shrinking ice floe. The poster, produced with the cooperation of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) delivers the message, “Don’t just go with the floe…Help protect the stratospheric ozone layer and climate. Have your vehicle’s air conditioning serviced by qualified technicians who will replace broken parts and repair leaks using the proper tools and equipment.”
“MACS is proud to have developed this poster promoting the importance of professional mobile A/C service and repair. We hope many service facilities and distributors will display it in their businesses to educate consumers,” said Elvis Hoffpauir, MACS president and COO.
Twelve-thousand posters will be distributed with the May 2005 issue of MACS ACtion magazine. Eight-thousand additional posters will be distributed upon request for a postage fee.
Professionals interested in a copy of the poster can contact MACS at [email protected] or call 215/631-7020 and dial “0”.
