BETHESDA, MD — The Automotive Communication Council (ACC) recently committed to sponsoring the 2005 Women’s Board activities at the silver sponsorship level.
ACC is a national, non-profit organization comprised of marketing professionals engaged in public relations, advertising, branding and other communication practices for automotive aftermarket companies. ACC provides a networking forum for the exchange of ideas, information and resources about issues, challenges and trends impacting companies and organizations throughout the aftermarket industry. The council was founded in 1941 and is the oldest continuously operating council in the automotive sales and marketing field.
“I’d like to extend my sincerest thanks to ACC for sponsoring the Women’s Board at the silver level again this year,” said Jennifer Tio, president, Car Care Council Women’s Board. “Their continued support is very much appreciated.”
The Car Care Council Women’s Board expanded its sponsorship program in order to support all of the Women’s Board activities for the year, which include industry outreach, consumer education and recruiting women to the industry, as well as serving as an advisory board to the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign.
