XPEL Aligns with NASCAR Vendor

XPEL Technologies Corp. announced its newly established relationship with North Carolina-based Supplies for Racing & Industry, Inc. (SRI), a vendor to a majority of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race teams, whose sister company, Stock Car Steel & Aluminum Inc., provides 95 percent of NASCAR teams' metal requirements.

SAN ANTONIO — XPEL Technologies Corp. announced its newly established relationship with North Carolina-based Supplies for Racing & Industry, Inc. (SRI), a vendor to a majority of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race teams, whose sister company, Stock Car Steel & Aluminum Inc., provides 95 percent of NASCAR teams’ metal requirements.

A former customer turned employee, SRI’s sales manager, John Anthony, stated, “Our president, Greg Fornelli, is always looking for ways to improve and expand the business, and one of his initiatives was to offer computer-cut paint protection kits for installation on race cars. With help from the 3M Company, we were fortunate to be introduced to XPEL, where we believe a great relationship and alliance has been formed. The professional staff at XPEL has trained and consulted us, and even designed specific kits for NASCAR.”

Anthony further commented, “During the first two weeks of August alone, SRI sold XPEL paint kits to several major NASCAR teams with incredible customer enthusiasm. We credit this early success to not only our strong relationships with these teams, but also the quality of the products designed by XPEL. We couldn’t be more excited about our relationship with XPEL and what it means to our future success in NASCAR.”

W. Rege Brunner, XPEL’s chairman and CEO, commented, “We too are excited about the relationship with SRI, and most impressed with their professionalism and diligence. We look forward to supporting SRI and their customers with the absolute best-designed paint protection products available in the marketplace.”
