ACDelco “Extreme Garage” Tour Makes Appearance in Las Vegas This Week

The ACDelco “Extreme Garage," an interactive display housed in an impressive 53-foot trailer, will make its appearance at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on Thursday, Oct. 20, in anticipation of the ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals this coming weekend.

GRAND BLANC, MI — The ACDelco “Extreme Garage,” an interactive display housed in an impressive 53-foot trailer, will make its appearance at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on Thursday, Oct. 20, in anticipation of the ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals this coming weekend.

It features Clint Bowyer’s NASCAR Busch Series show car, Kurt Johnson’s NHRA Pro Stock show car, a NASCAR Busch racing video game, an NHRA drag racing reaction time game and a “Dream Garage” display.

“Extreme Garage” visitors can enter for a chance to win the UCoatIt Dream Garage Sweepstakes, presented by ACDelco. The grand prize, valued at more than $20,000, has everything a “Real Car Guy” could wish for to remodel his or her home garage. It includes a high-gloss flooring system, a portable stacking lift, a stainless steel tool box, cabinets, furniture and even an air compressor.

“Las Vegas is known for its excitement and energy and it draws people from all over the world,” said Sue Christophersen, event marketing manager, GM service and parts operations. “That’s why it is the perfect place to bring the ACDelco ‘Extreme Garage.’ The display really draws you into the excitement of the ACDelco racing experience while reinforcing the quality ACDelco brand image.”

The “Extreme Garage” will be at the Hard Rock Hotel as part of the Budweiser Fan Fest during the pre-race activities in Las Vegas on Oct. 20. It is making appearances nationwide in conjunction with National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and International Hot Road Association (IHRA) races, including the ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals on Oct. 20-23. Those who cannot make it to the event but still want to enter the contest can submit a sweepstakes entry through the ACDelco Web site until Nov. 6.
