EFFINGHAM, IL — Mid America Motorworks, a provider of parts and accessories for Corvettes and Air-Cooled Volkswagens, has selected Mr. Gasket Performance Group as the recipient of its first annual M-Curve Supplier of the Year Award. The award honors Mr. Gasket’s exceptional performance in providing products and service to Mid America Motorworks and its customers. In conjunction with the award, and on behalf of Mr. Gasket Performance Group, Mid America Motorworks will donate $4,000 to the Specialty Equipment Manufacturer’s Association (SEMA) Memorial Scholarship Program.
Annually, Mid America Motorworks partners with more than 1,000 suppliers.
"Mr. Gasket’s stand-out performance, particularly in terms of turnaround time, payment terms, shipping documentation and return policy, has helped our business grow," said Mid America Motorworks Chief Executive Mike Yager. "We wanted to acknowledge their work and further our partnership. I think the M-Curve Supplier of the Year Award achieves those goals."

The M-Curve Supplier of the Year Award was presented to Mr. Gasket executives during a formal banquet ceremony on Jan. 27. The ceremony was part of the M-Curve Quality Supplier Summit, a two-day event honoring Mid America Motorworks’ top suppliers at the company’s corporate campus in Effingham, IL.
In addition to honoring the supplier of the year, Mid America Motorworks also presented 24 companies with the first annual M-Curve Quality Supplier Award. This award recognizes supplier partners who excel in providing Mid America Motorworks with superior product and support.

Cary Redman, a past SEMA scholarship recipient and current sales manager for Mr. Gasket Performance Group, accepted the donation on behalf of his company.
