CHICAGO, IL – Voodoo Ride, a new vehicle appearance products company, is launching a line of interior and exterior cleaners geared toward the do-it-yourself and auto enthusiast markets.

The company was co-founded in early 2007 by NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Christopher Ferraro, a veteran of the appearance products industry. Ferraro is the former president and CEO of VentureBrands LLC, a marine and automotive surface company.

“Working with Dale Jr., we have developed what we feel will be the premier line of interior and exterior car care products. Voodoo Ride was developed, technically and creatively, to share many of the same emotional and functional equities as Dale Jr.,” said Ferraro, president and CEO of Voodoo Ride. “We believe that our flagship product will revolutionize the quick detailer category. Most quick detailer products are surface-specific, actually warning users not to spray the product on other parts of their car. Voodoo Ride is specifically designed to be compatible with any surface on today’s vehicles.”

Voodoo Ride is currently in production on seven products. A website for the company —www.voodooride.com – is also in development.

“This is an exciting venture for me personally, as I not only believe in the brand and product, but the car care market itself has so much more potential. Voodoo Ride is our answer," said Earnhardt Jr.
