ROYERSFORD, PA — Wetherill Associates, Inc. (WAI), a Pennsylvania-based, global supplier of auto parts, has selected Omnitek Information Systems Inc. to introduce its new engine management product line. WAI selected Omnitek’s Computerized Automotive Research System (CARS) to help produce and organize the cataloging for the new line.

Omnitek began working with WAI approximately one year ago, with the goal of having WAI’s printed and electronic catalogs ready before the 2007 AAPEX show, which takes place next week in Las Vegas.

According to Tom Lubrano of WAI, the company selected Omnitek for its use of state-of-the-art technology, including Microsoft’s SQL 2000 database and the emerging .NET framework. WAI wanted a flexible solution that could easily adapt to constantly evolving requirements, and they felt that Omnitek had the technology and expertise that would fit its needs now and going forward. Lubrano said WAI wasn’t searching for a software system to just produce a catalog, but rather a working system to keep up with its global information needs.

Omnitek’s range of software modules including the Computerized Automotive Research System (CARS), Vehicle Population Module, Interchange Module, Pricing Module, OEM Compression Module and Engineering Module were not offered by any vendors as a complete package. Through Omnitek’s software modules, WAI will have capability to provide eCat data to all eCat companies, including in Europe via ACES-TecDoc links, PIES, WEB Catalog and CD Catalog.

WAI will be at the AAPEX Show 2007 in Las Vegas, Booth # 3468
