Video on Global Outsourcing Available on Four Seasons Web Site

Four Seasons has added a powerful new video to its Web site, www.4s.com, about the quality of products being outsourced from other countries. “The automotive aftermarket air conditioning segment has been hit hard by a flood of poorly designed and constructed products coming into the U.S., so it’s more important than ever to know what you’re buying and where it’s coming from,” said Benny Araujo, marketing manager for Four Seasons Inc.

LEWISVILLE, Texas – Four Seasons has added a powerful new video to its Web site, www.4s.com, about the quality of products being outsourced from other countries. The video is accessible through Four Seasons brand’s home page by clicking on the right-hand column “Overseas Sourcing PSA.”

“The automotive aftermarket air conditioning segment has been hit hard by a flood of poorly designed and constructed products coming into the U.S., so it’s more important than ever to know what you’re buying and where it’s coming from,” said Benny Araujo, marketing manager for Four Seasons Inc. “This video effectively demonstrates the importance of paying close attention to details when selecting a vendor for supply – even with relatively simple products such as accumulators and filter driers which have no moving parts. We posted this video as part of our responsibility and commitment to the automotive aftermarket air conditioning industry.”

To ensure that customers continue to receive the highest quality products, Four Seasons includes analyses in its vendor selection process, which contains the verification of not only manufacturing, engineering and quality, but also statistical process control, QS/ISO certifications, process flow and repeatability, as well as shipping and receiving performance.

Four Seasons maintains an office in Asia that includes sourcing, engineering and logistical personnel. The function of this office mirrors similar functions of its Lewisville, Texas, product development department, in that a periodical inspection and audit of vendors is performed.

“We have design and engineering expertise, and we test and endorse the quality of all of the products we sell. With Four Seasons, you’re getting premium quality temperature control products that you can trust,” concluded Araujo.
