A little over three years later, Joe Gibbs Driven has again expanded its motorsports reach with the launch of Joe Gibbs Driven Hot Rod Oil.

Denny Hamlin, a four-time Sprint Cup winner who honed his skills in the Nationwide Series with JGR, will carry the colors of the new Joe Gibbs Driven Hot Rod Oil in Saturday’s Heluva Good! 200 Nationwide Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway.
It’s a reunion of sorts as Hamlin’s first career Nationwide Series race came with Joe Gibbs Driven in November 2004 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway. Hamlin’s impressive eighth-place finish launched his career, but it also served as the launch for Joe Gibbs Driven and its line of racing oils and lubricants.
“We knew both had potential,” said JGR team president J.D. Gibbs, who oversaw Hamlin’s growth in the Nationwide Series – a maturation process that included six wins and led to a full-time drive in Sprint Cup with the No. 11 team. “It’s fun to hook Denny and Joe Gibbs Driven up again and look back at what both have accomplished. We have high goals for Denny and Joe Gibbs Driven, and we look forward to what both are capable of in the future.”
“I was pretty excited to get a Top10 in my first Nationwide Series race with Joe Gibbs Racing,” Hamlin said. “I know a little more now, and hopefully we can put the Joe Gibbs Driven Hot Rod Oil Toyota in victory lane on Saturday. It’s a cool-looking car and the sponsor is pretty appropriate. With eight wins so far this year, these JGR Nationwide cars have been real hot rods.”
