ALLEN PARK, Mich. — Belle Tire will host free Car Care Clinics Sunday, June 22 between 11am and 5pm at Belle Tire headquarters in Allen Park, Mich.
The clinics are targeted toward women, although anyone is welcome to attend, and will provide a basic knowledge and understanding of a how a vehicle works and proper maintenance procedures.
This free event will include five 15-minute car care seminars running at the top and the bottom of each hour. It will also feature the Monroe Ride and Drive, an interactive driving experience featuring six of the hottest domestic and imported cars.
The seminars will include:
1. General Education and Introduction
2. Understanding the Visual Warning Indicators of your Vehicle Systems
3. Under the Hood
4. Tire Inspection
5. Brake and Suspension System
Also included in the day’s events will be the Monroe Shocks and Struts Ride & Drive Tour, a free interactive automotive technology demonstration and driving experience. The Monroe Ride & Drive fleet features two BMWs, two Nissan Xterras and two Dodge Caravans. The Tour ASE-Certified instructors will help participants learn how to better communicate the need for ride control and brake replacement through the interactive driving experience.
The five, 15-minute seminars will be conducted by some of the top female automotive experts in the business, including Lead Instructor Gail Truess, Allison Altzman, Stacy Kuhn, Frankie Marrow and Stephanie Reaves.
Goodyear training expert Maria Tsipis, Ford Engineer and SCCA driver Jennifer Merideth and Belle Tire Expert ASE Certified Instructors will also be on hand to answer additional questions.
Participants will receive a free gift bag at registration filled with merchandise and money savings coupons, and can register to win more than $10,000 in prizes including concert tickets and VIP party passes to the Jonas Brothers, Rod Stewart and Crosby, Still & Nash and tickets to other great summer concerts. Local restaurants and retailers, like Belle Tire Auto Glass, Weight Watchers, All Hooked Up.Biz, Rio Boutique, Anna’s Drapery Shop, Mario’s Restaurant, 17th Street Bar & Grill and Panera Bread will be on hand providing sampling, demos and food.
Meet WNIC’s Chris Edmonds and Lisa Barey from 11am-1pm and Kevin O’Neill from 1pm – 3pm, plus Cuddles the Bear will be on hand all day.
