The Massachusetts House ended its session Friday without acting on “Right to Repair” legislation that was proposed on July 31.
First introduced in 2001, various versions of the Motor Vehicle Owner’s Right to Repair act have been proposed in Congress over the years, and more recently in states including Florida, Oklahoma, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Nevada and New Jersey.
While the formal session ended Friday, the bill remains active on the Massachusetts House calendar.
