Engine and Transmission Exchange Rebrands Itself ETE Reman; Announces Enhanced Warranty Program

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Milwaukee-based remanufacturer Engine and Transmission Exchange Inc. has adopted ETE Reman as its new trade name.

The company said this change better communicates ETE Reman’s product concentration — remanufactured transmissions and transfer cases. Customers and the market will immediately begin seeing the ETE Reman branding on the company Web site and on all marketing materials and packaging. The company’s formal corporate name, Engine and Transmission Exchange Inc. remains unchanged.

In addition, ETE Reman has announced an improvement in its transmission and transfer case warranty program. Effective immediately, across all transmission and transfer case products, installers and consumers now have the comfort and protection of a 36-month, 100,000-mile full replacement warranty. The company said this new, longer-term warranty will enhances its ability to achieve its goal of significantly increasing market share. ETE Reman’s labor time reimbursements continue with this new extended terms warranty.
