UREMCO Selects Autologue SBC as its Go-Forward Business Software

SBC is a highly configurable, Windows-based POS management system.

Autologue’s business management system provides the tools needed for effective business management.

United Remanufacturing Company (UREMCO) has selected Autologue’s SBC Solutions to replace its legacy software, Autologue said.

Chicago-based UREMCO has rebuilt millions of carburetors and fuel injectors since 1948. UREMCO lists almost 2,000 SKUs available to the automotive aftermarket with e-catalog data listed in the major catalog data providers. When it was time to move to a new business software, the company thoroughly evaluated SBC’s capabilities and decided to move forward with the solution.

SBC is a highly configurable, Windows-based POS management system that can be customized to meet specific needs. Functionality includes sales-order entry, inventory management, accounts receivable, forecasting, purchasing and custom reporting. It provides the tools to help a distributor/manufacturer effectively manage their business.

One of the key strengths of SBC is the flexibility of the application, and Autologue’s ability to customize the solution to meet specific needs. When a business has a unique process that does not fit with “off-the-shelf” software, SBC is a great option, Autologue noted.

“Facing an old legacy management system going out of business, we chose to partner with SBC and Autologue due to their experience in the automotive aftermarket,” said Scott Portman of UREMCO. “One month in, we are extremely happy with the decision. SBC’s experienced and talented employees are the reason the company remains successful.”

“We are excited to be working with UREMCO,” said Jim Franco, president and CEO of Autologue. “SBC is a strong software application and the SBC team here at Autologue has a great deal of experience and expertise to support a dynamic company like UREMCO. We look forward to serving them for many years to come.”
