Automotive Sales Council to Host 60th Fall Business Meeting

The meeting will take place Sept. 18-19 in Rosemont, Illinois.

With 75 aftermarket business executives scheduled to attend, the Automotive Sales Council will hold its 65th fall business meeting in Rosemont, Illinois from September 18-19.

Sponsored by Babcox Media, the meeting will feature:

  • Eamon Kelly, senior research analyst and partner, Edgewater Research, who will review and interpret the latest aftermarket research;
  • MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers’ Paul McCarthy, president and CEO, and Ben Brucato, vice president, membership and engagement, who will give updates on recent activities of the association;
  • Danny Bachman, economic forecaster at Deloitte, who will provide an economic update and his interpretations of aftermarket data;
  • Larry Pavey, CEO of the Automotive Parts Services Group, who will give an update on The Group and the current state of the aftermarket;
  • Jim Merle. vice president and group publisher at Babcox Media, who will give an update on Babcox Media;
  • Chris Callahan, vice president of JOSCO, who will give an update on the JOSCO sales organization.

Automotive Sales Council was founded in 1958, and membership is limited to no more than 100 voting members, who are senior marketing executives of manufacturers in the automotive service industry. The Council has two meetings each year as a roundtable discussion group featuring invited guest presenters.

Additional meeting sponsors for 2023 include Whalen Search Group, Bill Murray Associates and Endeavor Business Media. The next meeting will be in May 2024 at the Hammock Beach Golf Resort and Spa in Palm Coast, Florida.
