This is the first time Clarios has been recognized and is one of only eight honorees in the automotive industry.

Automotive battery manufacturer Clarios announced it was recognized by Ethisphere, global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as one of the 2023 World’s Most Ethical Companies.

This is the first time Clarios has been recognized and is one of only eight honorees in the automotive industry. In 2023, 135 honorees were recognized spanning 19 countries and 46 industries.

“Our ability to be honored for the first time as one of the World’s Most Ethical companies is a direct result of the commitment of nearly 16,000 Clarios team members around the world,” said Clarios President and CEO Mark Wallace. “I’m proud to lead our team as we strive to live our values, especially our value around being principled, as we do the right things in the right ways for our employees, customers, communities and the planet.”

“Ethics matters. Organizations that commit to business integrity through robust programs and practices not only elevate standards and expectations for all, but also have better long-term performance,” said Ethisphere CEO, Erica Salmon Byrne. “We continue to be inspired by the World’s Most Ethical Companies honorees and their dedication to making real impact for their stakeholders and displaying exemplary values-based leadership. Congratulations to Clarios for earning a place in the World’s Most Ethical Companies community.”
