Skyline Emissions Inc. Joins the JNPSoft/OptiCat Network

Skyline Emissions designs, develops and manufactures aftermarket diesel particulate filters and diesel oxidation catalysts.

JNPSoft OptiCat has announced that Skyline Emissions Inc. has joined the JNPSoft OptiCat Network. As the automotive and aftermarket community continues to embrace data standards, more and more aftermarket parts data receivers (distributors and other data users) are requesting high-quality digital product data and application that conforms to the Auto Care ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard) and PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard) data standards.

Skyline Emissions designs, develops and manufactures aftermarket diesel particulate filters (DPF) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC) for heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel-powered vehicles. The company said this strategic partnership will enhance its cataloging for customers.

“I am thrilled that Skyline Emissions has chosen to partner with us to provide their PIES standardized product information to their dealers through the JNPSoft OptiCat Network,” said Don McEntee, director of Sales & Marketing. “It’s great to be able to add Skyline Emissions’ data to our ever-growing list of suppliers using our network to distribute their digital data to their customers.”

“With e-commerce sites being easy to set up, many of our dealers have created their own webstores to sell Skyline products. We need a simple and robust way to allow our dealers with webstores to access Skyline’s latest product data. It was clear that JNPSoft OptiCat’s tools provide us with the best solution possible to meet our growing needs,” said Adam Gross, Skyline Emissions’ vice president of Sales & Marketing.
