Akebono Releases New ProACT And EURO Ultra-Premium Disc Brake Pad Kits

New ProACT, EURO Ultra-Premium Brake Pad Kits from Akebono

Part numbers for Buick, Chevrolet, Audi, BMW and Land Rover increase coverage by more than 1.3 million vehicles.

This week, Akebono Brake Corp. expanded its EURO Ultra-Premium Disc Brake Pad line by five part numbers: EUR1692A, EUR1892A, EUR1892B, EUR1898 and EUR1898A and ProACT by one new part number: ACT2168. Electronic wear sensor and Premium stainless steel abutment hardware is included in the kits that require it.

This week’s release includes ProACT brake pads with premium stainless hardware for the Buick Encore and Chevrolet Trax. EURO brake pads with electronic wear sensors add coverage for Land Rover Defender, Discovery and Range Rover, BMW X3, X4, 330i and 330 xDrive, Audi A6 Quattro, A6 Allroad, A7 Sportback, Q5, Q5 PHEV, SQ5, A4, A4 Quattro, A4 Allroad, A5 Quattro, A5 Sportback, RS5, RS5 Sportback, S4, S5 and S5 Sportback.

“We are excited about this release of five new EURO part numbers that add late-model coverage for Audi, BMW, and Land Rover in which VIO (vehicles in operation) is above 600,000. All these parts are in-stock and ready for shipment,” said Jennifer Lajcaj, marketing specialist at Akebono Brake Corp.
