CVSN Gives Check from John Bzeta Charity Auction to JUMPSTART

CVSN members helped raise more than $65,500 in memory of the late John Bzeta at the 2nd Children’s Charity Auction.

The CVSN distributor and supplier members showed again how generous our industry is at the June  2022 CVSN Aftermarket Executive Summit held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Lake Tahoe, CA.

CVSN previously announced that its members helped raise more than $65,500 in memory of the late John Bzeta of Fleet Brake Parts and Service at the second Children’s Charity Auction. In June, CVSN was pleased to have John’s wife Michelle, John’s mom Judy and the three Bzeta children Ava, Jackson and Matthew, all on hand to honor John as CVSN’s 2022 President’s Award winner and have the Charity Auction renamed in his honor.

Funds raised were donated to JUMPSTART. Since 2005, the organization has helped 2.5 million kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in an effort to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities. JUMPSTART is more than just about getting kids active. It’s about giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbors, their classmates and their friends. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favorite one, no kid should be left out. JUMPSTART’S mission is to enrich the lives of kids in need through sport and physical activity.

The check was presented on 8/22 to JUMPSTART by Michelle Bzeta, John’s mom Judy and Fed Condiman, the CFO of Fleet Brake. On hand from JUMPSTART were Brad Ellard, JUMPSTART Regional Manager for Alberta and Rob Hatch, the local Canadian Tire Dealer.
