Christian Brothers Automotive Named to Franchise 500 List

It was rated #3 in Repair and Maintenance Services in the Automotive category, and #202 overall.

Christian Brothers Automotive announced it has been named to Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 list, rated #3 in Repair and Maintenance Services in the “Automotive” category, and #202 overall.

Christian Brothers Automotive says this recognition highlights the successful expansion it made in 2021. An addition of 17 locations last year brings the brand’s total number of shops to more than 245 locations in communities across the United States.

“We have been fortunate to have seen record-breaking growth this past year. It’s a tremendous honor to receive this recognition from Entrepreneur for the fifth year in a row,” said Donnie Carr, president and CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive. “Heading into 2022, we cannot wait to see what the next year has in store for our franchise system. I look forward to strategically growing our footprint, strengthening and supporting our existing partners, and pursuing new opportunities in the year ahead.”

There are several key factors that go into the evaluation, including costs and fees, size and growth, support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability. Each franchise is given a cumulative score based on an analysis of more than 150 data points, and the 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores become the Franchise 500 in ranking order.

“The past year has been one of the most challenging for businesses in recent memory, which made putting together our 43rd annual Franchise 500 list more enlightening than ever,” says Entrepreneur Editor in Chief Jason Feifer. “The companies named to this year’s list showed us how being resilient, supportive, and nimble can help navigate extraordinary challenges and also underscore the grit and innovation that define entrepreneurship.”

Founded in Houston, Texas in 1982, Christian Brothers Automotive has successfully changed the way guests think about the auto service experience. From the waiting room environment of each shop, which feels more like a well-appointed family room in a home, to the hassle-free interaction with shop owners and managers, Christian Brothers Automotive provides guests with an informative and comforting assurance.
