Bosch Releases 495 Parts YTD Covering 30 Million VIO

The new products cover domestic, European and Asian passenger and commercial vehicle applications.

Robert Bosch, LLC announced it has added 495 automotive aftermarket parts to its portfolio year to date in 2021, covering more than 30 million vehicles in operation across North America — reinforcing the company’s commitment to offering a complete range of high-quality and reliable parts for the whole workshop. The new Bosch products, which cover Domestic, European and Asian passenger and commercial vehicles, include 48 braking parts, 385 relays, fuses and switches, an ignition coil, an eXchange alternator, an EVO spark plug and 39 sensors.

Bosch Braking

Through Q3 of this year, Bosch has released 48 braking parts for a variety of vehicle makes and models. This includes the Bosch Police Pursuit brake pads, manufactured to meet the high demands of law enforcement to ensure safety, reliability and consistent stopping power in any conditions. In addition, Bosch released QuietCast Disc Brake Pads and Bosch Blue Disc Brake Pads for late-model Asian, European, Domestic and heavy-duty vehicles last quarter.

Bosch Sensors

Bosch has added a variety of engine management sensors, oxygen and NOx sensors to its catalog. In Q3 2021, Bosch released 12 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors (EGTS) to measure the amount of exhaust gas, communicate to the vehicle’s ECU and protect the high-quality components in the exhaust tract. The new sensors monitor the optimum temperature range to help create cleaner emissions and improve fuel efficiency.

Year-to-date, Bosch has released 16 new oxygen sensors, including the robustly designed Bosch Wideband A/F oxygen sensor that precisely measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust rather than just switching between rich and lean. Other oxygen sensors released this year include the Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor, featuring a double laser-welded stainless steel body design that protects the sensor against contamination, and Bosch Premium Wideband Air Fuel Ratio (A/F) Oxygen Sensors that feature an advanced wideband sensing element to provide precise air/fuel measurement.

Bosch also released a new NOx sensor for reliable monitoring and precisely measuring the nitrogen oxide concentration in the exhaust gas of diesel vehicles to support efficient after treatment. The new sensor helps create cleaner emissions with continuous NOx monitoring while the engine is running.

Bosch Ignition Coil

Five original equipment ignition coils have been released in 2021, all featuring precise, corrosion-resistant connections to provide an extensive service life. Built to achieve or exceed OE specifications, the coils efficiently supply spark plug electrodes, leading to superior cold-start performance and enhanced temperature and vibration resistance.

Bosch eXchange Alternator

Through 2021, Bosch has released six eXchange alternators that are full-load tested to guarantee compliance with strict Bosch performance specifications. Bosch eXchange alternators are built to last through its high-quality materials and the most technologically advanced developments. All products are 100% factory tested and are remanufactured, not rebuilt.

Bosch EVO Spark Plugs

Bosch has released one new EVO Spark Plug this year that is designed to ensure reliable ignition throughout its long service life – even under extreme conditions in modern engines. The improved insulator design and high dielectric strength (greater than 45kV) allows the new EVO spark plugs to withstand irregular combustion. Bosch EVO spark plugs are developed and produced with the same high quality as original equipment spark plugs.

Bosch Rotating Machine

Twelve rotating machines have been released in 2021 to cover more than a half-million vehicles in the United States and Canada. All rotating machines are designed for fewer returns and warranty claims. Additionally, the rotating machines are full-load tested to guarantee compliance with strict Bosch performance specifications.

Bosch Wipers

Two specialty wipers were released this year – the Bosch OE Specialty AeroTwin Set, which provides longer life through a blended dual rubber compound with a graphite coating and patented beam technology for a uniform wipe, and the Bosch OE Specialty Rear wipers, which feature integrated rear quick clip connections for easy installation and a natural rubber design with graphite coating allows for quiet application.

Bosch Relays, Fuses and Switches

This year, Bosch announced a full-range product portfolio of 385 relays, fuses and switches, covering a wide range of Domestic, European and Asian applications with multiple functions, voltage and amperage options. Additionally, Bosch also released a Relay Parts Finder on its website (www.boschautoparts.com) for quick, easy and accurate part searches.
