Lumileds Wins ACA Best Packaging Award at AAPEX

The award recognizes Philips’ new packaging scheme, designed to make consumers aware of the products’ key attributes.

Lumileds received the Best Packaging Award for its Philips NightGuide platinum and Philips CrystalVision platinum automotive upgrade headlight bulbs. The award was presented by the Women in Auto Care during the 2021 Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) during this year’s AAPEX Show.

The Best Packaging award was given in recognition of Philips’ new packaging scheme, which was designed to make consumers aware of the products’ performance capabilities, key attributes, and benefits to both driving safety and vehicle styling, says the company. The new packaging design features crisp, easy-to-read graphics and clear windows on the packaging front and side panels that allow consumers to easily view the bulb.

Aubry Baugh, Lumileds product marketing manager, accepted the award, noting, “We are delighted to receive this Automotive Communications Award because it is a testament to the effort our team put forth in creating these new designs. The team did a great job in showcasing these fantastic upgrade headlight bulbs so consumers would be able to better understand their performance and be confident in their purchase.”

The ACA program recognizes auto care industry manufacturers, distribution networks, service providers and other organizations for outstanding business-to-consumer and business-to-business advertising, marketing, and public relations activities.
