Full Range Of Automotive Chemicals From LIQUI MOLY At AAPEX

The oil and additive specialist will exhibit at both SEMA and AAPEX in Las Vegas.

When the two automotive trade shows AAPEX and SEMA Show open their doors in November, LIQUI MOLY will be showing its complete range of automotive chemicals there. “People know us from our oils and additives,” says Sebastian Zelger, Director LIQUI MOLY USA / Canada. “But many don’t even know that we have much more in our range, such as car care.”

In fact, LIQUI MOLY’s range is so extensive that there are rarely opportunities to see the full line in person. The portfolio includes the AA line, a whole range of engine oils developed specifically for models from Asian and American manufacturers. It also includes the Molygen oils – engine oils with special wear protection that makes them look green. They also include new additives such as DIJectron, which reduces the risk of engine damage caused by LSPI (low-speed pre-ignition), and the Turbocharger Additive, which protects newly installed turbochargers from wear. “And we are showing our car care products,” says Sebastian Zelger. “We see great potential in this area.”

Although the focus of AAPEX and SEMA Show is on cars, LIQUI MOLY will also be showing there what it has in its range for powersports and marine. Sebastian Zelger: “This opens up the possibility for dealers and workshops to tap into new market segments simply and easily.”

LIQUI MOLY has long been an exhibitor at AAPEX, which is aimed primarily at trade visitors. The company has been exhibiting at the SEMA Show for several years as well. “The two exhibitions address different target groups and complement each other well,” says Sebastian Zelger. “For example, at the SEMA Show we can explain to many car enthusiasts how they can use additives as chemical tools.” People may not only win knowledge but also many prizes and even the booth car: a 2022 Volkswagen GTI MK8 fully customized by Jamie Orr – one of the first in the USA.

In the U.S. and Canada, LIQUI MOLY is experiencing strong growth. Last year, sales increased by 17 percent despite the pandemic. 2021 has been even more successful so far, with sales up to almost 50 percent over the same period last year. “We want to use this momentum at the two shows,” says Sebastian Zelger.

AAPEX takes place Nov. 2-4 at Sands Expo & Caesars Forum Conference Center in Las Vegas, NV, and LIQUI MOLY is there in the main hall at booth A3061. The SEMA Show will be held November 2-5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, LIQUI MOLY will be there in the Central Hall at booth 24729. “These two shows will certainly be different than before because of the pandemic, but we are happy to be able to meet business partners, mechanics and car enthusiasts,” says Sebastian Zelger.
