NRS Brakes Twice Named Editor’s Choice For Best Brakes

The annual Best Brake Pads guide from AutoGuide noted that NRS brake pads outlast traditional painted brake pads.

NRS Brakes earned AutoGuide’s Editor’s Choice Award for Best Brakes for the second year in a row. The annual Best Brake Pads guide noted that NRS brake pads outlast traditional painted brake pads “while also offering quieter operation and improved braking performance.” The review also champions NRS Brakes’ extensive industry experience and its patented galvanized brake technology.

Brake pads from NRS Brakes excel thanks to galvanized backing plates, which prevent corrosion and rust, and NRS mechanical attachment that ensures the friction material and backing plate cannot separate. NRS Brakes are the only brand that also come with an additional patented hardware – the piston cushion insert, which eliminates all brake-related noise.

The AutoGuide award also notes that modern brake pads often wear out prematurely because they are painted or treated: “NRS Brakes’ galvanized brakes ensure that the steel does not deteriorate and gives the friction material the opportunity to fully wear down, making it the longest-lasting brake pad in the market.” AutoGuide adds that “buying the best brake pads you can afford will help you stay safe on the roads.”

“Ultimately, we have the world’s longest-lasting brake pad because we have the world’s best technology,” said Montu Khokhar, CEO of NRS Brakes. “We truly appreciate the recognition from respected publications like AutoGuide.”

NRS Brakes is a founding member of the Global Brake Safety Council and Safe Braking consortium and part of the NUCAP family of innovation companies that include: SpiderTechGRIPMetalGRIPBlock and NUCAP Energy.
