Pioneer-ATP Releases 25 New Powertrain Items

New part numbers cover 16 million vehicles, further company’s expansion into medium-/ heavy-duty applications.

Pioneer-ATP has released 25 new numbers in the powertrain category covering 16 million additional vehicles. New parts include automatic and manual transmission shift, detent, accelerator and clutch cables, along with automatic transmission flexplates and manual flywheels.

Jerry Williams, powertrain product manager, said, “Continuing to expand coverage on mid- and late-model vehicles is a key initiative for these important product lines. Our research shows these vehicles are approaching their peak service age for the original part to wear out and we want to guarantee our customers are ready to service those demands.”

Many parts are previously dealer only and coverage includes further expansion on domestic, import and medium-duty vehicles.

Williams commented, “Pioneer and ATP have historically been focused on light- to medium-duty applications. This release furthers our development of medium- / heavier-duty applications including GM 3500-7500 and Isuzu NPR / NPR-HD. Our customers often service these vehicles and we are excited to bring a broader offering to support it.”
