Curran Named Entrepreneur Of The Year Finalist

Darcy Curran is president and CEO of Highline Aftermarket.

Highline Aftermarket, a leading national distributor of automotive products, recently announced that President and CEO Darcy Curran has been named an Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 Southeast finalist by Ernst & Young, a multinational professional-services network based in London.

Now in its 34th year, the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year awards program honors visionary business leaders whose ambitions deliver innovation, growth, and prosperity as they build and sustain successful, transformative businesses. Darcy was selected as one of 30 finalists from a highly competitive pool of nominations made by a panel of independent judges, including previous award winners, leading CEOs, private-equity and venture-capital investors, and other regional business luminaries. This year, entrepreneurs who’ve provided extraordinary support for their communities, employees, and others during the COVID-19 crisis will also be recognized for their courage, resilience and ingenuity.

“I’m humbled and honored to be recognized by Ernst & Young — and to be among such inspiring company,” says Curran. “I believe that an entrepreneurial mindset and creative approach to solving business problems can truly build a better future for all, while guiding others to rise to that great challenge with boldness and integrity.”

Entrepreneur of the Year is one of the preeminent competitive award programs for entrepreneurs and leaders of high- growth companies. The nominees are evaluated based on six criteria, including overcoming adversity; financial performance; societal impact and commitment to building a values-based company; innovation; and talent management. Since its launch, the program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries around the world. Learn more at ey.com/us/eoy.
