Noregon Launches Feed A Trucker Campaign

The program provides free meals to professional truck drivers at TravelCenters of America locations.

Noregon, an IoT company specializing in connected vehicle solutions, recently launched a program to provide free meals to professional truck drivers at TravelCenters of America locations across the United States. The program is the company’s expression of gratitude to truck drivers who are on the frontline of the COVID-19 response helping deliver essential goods across the country.

The “Feed a Trucker” campaign started in Greensboro, North Carolina, where Noregon is headquartered. In conjunction with local companies TruckSuite and Atlas Financial, free meal vouchers were handed out on April 9 and 10 at the Greensboro TA location.

“It is such a privilege to be able to give back to these professional drivers in a time of need,” said Bill Hathaway, Noregon’s founder and executive chairman. “These men and women are providing such a critical service to our country right now and this is our chance to give back and thank them.”

Following the overwhelming success of the campaign in Greensboro, Noregon extended the Feed a Trucker movement to help serve other parts of the country for the next eight weeks. Below are the upcoming dates for various TA locations:

• 4/23/2020 – Milldale, CT (TA Store #154)

• 4/30/2020 – Porter, IN (TA Store #220)

• 5/7/2020 – Sawyer, MI (TA Store #116)

• 5/14/2020 – Wheeler Ridge, CA (TA Store #239)

• 5/21/2020 – Ontario East, CA (TA Store #26)

• 5/28/2020 – Commerce City, CO (TA Store #148)

• 6/4/2020 – Troutdale, OR (TA Store #183)

Commercial truck drivers are encouraged to claim vouchers the day of the event at the above listed TravelCenters of America locations, starting at 10:00 a.m. Vouchers are available while supplies last and are valid at the event location’s quick-service restaurants.
