Nominations Open For GenNext ‘4 Under 40’ Awards

All independent aftermarket industry professionals age 40 or younger are eligible for the awards.

GenNext HD has opened the nomination period for its annual “4 Under 40” Aftermarket awards.

The GenNext 4 Under 40 award program recognizes younger industry professionals for their outstanding commitment to the heavy-duty independent aftermarket.

All independent aftermarket industry professionals age 40 or younger are eligible for the awards, which celebrate professionals who demonstrate involvement, innovation and commitment within the aftermarket as well as a desire to propel the industry forward.

“It was an immense honor to be named as an inaugural 4 Under 40 award recipient. To be recognized, not only by your peers, but by the industry you serve, is a thrill. It’s been a pleasure to watch each year as four additional leaders are named,” said Nikki Paschall, GenNext board member, HDA Truck Pride director of marketing and inaugural 4 Under 40 award winner in 2018.

The awards are free to enter and self-nominations are encouraged. The nomination period will open through April 30. The four young professionals selected for this year’s awards will be chosen from this year’s list of nominees.

Winners of last year’s second annual 4 Under 40 awards were Jerry Conroy (previously with Bendix CVS), Kate Diecks (Kit Masters), Sean Ryan (Point Spring & Driveshaft), Megan Vincent (Phillips Industries). This year’s winners will be announced and honored at the 2020 Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) Aftermarket Distribution Summit in June in Boston.

Judging criteria for the awards include:

• Under the age of 40 (as of June 1, 2020).

• Currently employed within the heavy-duty aftermarket industry.

• Demonstrates leadership qualities.

• Strives to propel the industry forward through involvement and innovation.
