Transtar Renews Partnership With Marmon Transmission Group

This renewed partnership ensures customers have continued access to aftermarket drivetrain products, says Transtar.

Transtar Industries has secured a long-term agreement with Sonnax and Rostra Powertrain Controls, two companies that comprise Marmon Transmission Group. While terms of the agreement will not be disclosed, this continued collaboration provides a commitment to Transtar and its customers, promoting growth within the transmission aftermarket industry by providing shops with reliable access to the highest-quality products, including driveline and high performance, said the company.

Vice President of Supply Chain Kevin Rozsa said, “The combined expertise of both companies will benefit transmission rebuilders for years to come. We recognize the importance of offering the highest-quality drivetrain parts to our customers – and in continuing our partnership with Sonnax and Rostra, we are achieving that.”

Sonnax President Steve Boyer commented, “Our longstanding partnership with Transtar has been instrumental in helping us to support shops with the right parts, at the right time. With a shared commitment to quality, service and delivery, the Sonnax and Rostra parts customers needs are a phone call or a click away.”

Rostra President Jeff McCurley added, “Rostra continues to invest in new product development of electronic parts to ensure Transtar can always say “yes” to their customers’ needs.”
