For California-based Westesco, 2018 marked a record-breaking sales year for its relationship with Dill Air Controls. Dill recently honored Westesco for its efforts.

Westesco (Western Tire Equipment & Supply Co) was established in 1974 and is a full-service distributor for tire, wheel and undercar supplies and equipment. With dedication to lasting relationships and quality of product for Dill and Westesco alike, there is no surprise that they have built a thriving business relationship.

Chairman of the Board Vic Harisis founded the company in 1974. Harisis has been active in the day-to-day operations at all levels of the business since the company’s inception and still plays an active role in the business every day. He developed his passion for entrepreneurship at a young age – selling newspapers, shining shoes and playing store in the basement of his father’s business. A graduate of Kent State University College of Business Administration, Harisis is passionate about helping current business students at Kent State succeed. Most notably, he co-founded the Career Clothes Closet Scholarship. The scholarship was established to fund the purchase of a suit for business majors who may not be able to afford a professional suit for job interviews.

Chris Deralas is the president and CEO of Westesco. Deralas started with the company in March 1984, recently celebrating his 35th work anniversary. His contributions to the organization far outnumber his years in the industry. His dedication and support have allowed the company to continue to grow and thrive, building upon the legacy that Harisis created.
