Valeo has been recognized by the Top Employers Institute as a Top Employer 2019 for its excellent workplace environment. Valeo received the certification for the second time in a row as a top employer of choice in North America. Organizations certified as Top Employers dedicate themselves to providing outstanding working conditions for employees through leading-edge, “people-first” Human Resources (HR) practices.

As an independent HR certification company, the Top Employers Institute assesses participants through its global HR Best Practices Survey. The survey encompasses more than 100 questions, reflecting 600 working condition practices across vital HR areas, including on-boarding, learning and development, career and succession management and others.

“The Top Employer certification is an outstanding recognition for Valeo as an employee-centric organization in North America,” said Kevin Burke, human resources director, Valeo North America. “We strive to continuously optimize our unique working environment focused on employee development and empowerment. Valeo’s high performance teams drive our technology leadership, customer satisfaction and overall success.”

Founded nearly 100 years ago, Valeo is a technology company at the heart of the three automotive revolutions taking place today: autonomous driving, electrification and digital mobility. Valeo designs and manufactures high-tech systems that shape the future of the automotive industry. One in three cars worldwide is equipped with a Valeo electric system. In addition, Valeo provides the widest range of sensors on the market with more than 1 billion sensors sold to-date and has demonstrated numerous industry-first innovations, including extended autonomous driving in Paris, across Europe, and the United States.
