Mevotech Expands TTX Brand Of Control Arms

Mevotech has recently expanded the TTX control arm program to include its patented bimetallic technology.

Mevotech has announced the expansion of control arms from its premium brand, TTX: Terrain Tough Xtreme.

Mevotech’s TTX line has been growing, with a focus on control arm assemblies built using more material to better support the aftermarket suspension. Mevotech has recently expanded the TTX control arm program to include its patented bimetallic technology.

Mevotech’s bimetallic technology was developed by engineers to create a stronger, more robust aluminum control arm with an integrated sintered metal bearing. Bimetallic technology addresses the common failure point in OE aluminum control arm design which utilizes a polymer bearing. Mevotech says its bimetallic control arm gives technicians an aftermarket option for an aluminum control arm that greaseable and more durable.

“Mevotech’s focus on engineered undercar solutions makes us a leader in aftermarket chassis and suspension innovation,” said Brian Rossi, vice president of engineering for Mevotech. “It’s exciting to extend our bimetallic technology to the TTX brand. When coupled with TTX’s thicker forgings and reinforced cross sections, the result is stronger, longer-lasting parts that are exclusive to Mevotech.”

Visit Mevotech at AAPEX booth No. 2850 to learn more about the advantages of TTX and bimetallic technology.

All Mevotech’s parts are listed in its catalog found at http://partsonline.mevotech.com and in electronic catalog providers.
