Noonan Announces Manufacturing Changes

The company will be adding the production of cylinder heads and manifolds to its American capabilities, designing and producing high-end components under one facility.

Noonan Race Engineering will be adding the production of cylinder heads and manifolds to its American capabilities, designing and producing high-end components under one facility.

A little over a year ago Noonan announced the purchase of the NAS Racing facilities and subsequently moved its existing U.S. operations from Utah to Spartanburg, South Carolina, where the company have been operating since.

“Our business plan has always been to bring the operations under one roof, as this will allow us to improve many facets of our business,” said Jamie Noonan, owner of Noonan Race Engineering. “We have listened to and acted on the advice of our customers and believe we can create a more efficient end to end service delivery capability. We are looking forward to being able to improve our customer philosophy.”

He added, “Notwithstanding, we completely recognize the loyalty of our Australian customers and want to assure them that we will have dedicated customer support locally and the capability to contact our American team. Our hours of operations in the U.S. will be extended to enable customers to reach us regardless of time zone.

“Of course, repairs and maintenance activities of Noonan products will continue to be undertaken in Australia by our trusted partners,” he concluded.

In addition, Noonan has been working to establish a worldwide resellers program that enables reputable engine builders and specialists the opportunity of selling Noonan products.  This extended team will have the technical expertise and business capability to support Noonan end customers and facilitate the delivery of its products.

The timeframe of the transition is still developing; however, the CNC machines required to manufacture the company’s complete line will be in place at Spartanburg by the end of November. Noonan says it anticipates its mainstream Australian production will decrease in September allowing the company to transition assets from overseas.

The company says it will keep its customers updated through its Facebook page and website. For further information, call the company’s shop in South Carolina at +1-864-754 4111 or +61-7-3807-2144 in Queensland, Australia.
