OTC Introduces New Powertrain Lift With Split-Top Design For Internal Combustion, Electric And Hybrid Powertrains

OTC says the lift is able to tilt to help properly align components to the vehicle during installation, and threaded holes have been added to the table top to allow for future adapters and powertrains.

OTC has released the 5295 Powertrain Lift uniquely designed to handle removal and installation of electric vehicle batteries, fuel tanks, suspension systems and other powertrain assemblies.

The sliding split-top design allows for the separation of the engine and transmission assembly or the hybrid engine and generator module, making service easier. The lift has generous ground clearance that allows for floor crane access underneath, while a low collapsed height aids in servicing large components while they are still on the lift.

The table is able to tilt to help properly align components to the vehicle during installation, and threaded holes have been added to the table top to allow for future adapters and powertrains. The lift has a capacity of 1,760-lbs and a lifting height range of 21.5 to 70 inches. The lift is similar to both the GM Lift part No. GE-52200 and the Honda Lift part No. HON52200.

The 5295 Powertrain Lift is now available through OTC’s distribution partners in North America. For more information on the Powertrain Lift, visit OTCTools.com.
