The Indiana-based community organization, Fayette County Community Voices, recently honored Stant Corp. in recognition of its 120th anniversary. The award was presented to Stant executives Tim King, Rick Barnett and Jim Spurlock at the organization’s second annual dinner held June 21 in Connersville, Indiana.

“Since our founding in 1898, Stant Corp. has strived to be a leader and positive force in Connersville and the surrounding Fayette County community,” said King, senior vice president of global sales for Stant. “We are honored to be recognized for our 120-year history by such a fine organization. All those involved with Fayette County Community Voices work hard to provide important services to the area, enhance life in the community and make the county a better place for its residents.”

Fayette County Community Voices is a community initiative to positively impact and significantly influence the future of Fayette County, Indiana. Some of the areas of its focus include improving the health and well-being of all citizens in Fayette County, improving and promoting adult and family literacy, developing social and cultural events that improve the quality of life in the county, and providing leadership through the development of public and private partnerships that improve existing community spaces.
