CRP Automotive Expands Selection With Rein BMW Starter Bolt Kits

Rein BMW starter bolts are supplied uncoated, and the absence of a coating on the aluminum, torque-to-yield bolts helps guarantee proper grounding.

CRP Automotive is now offering Rein Automotive starter bolt kits (part No. HWK0039) for a wide variety of BMW vehicles equipped with N51/N52 engines. Rein BMW starter bolts are designed to ensure the starter is properly grounded. Rein BMW starter bolts are supplied uncoated, and the absence of a coating on the aluminum, torque-to-yield bolts helps guarantee proper grounding.

“BMW N51/N52 engines use torque-to-yield aluminum bolts to secure the starter to the engine and as the starter ages and fails, the bolts need to be replaced with the starter,” said Alex Ragucci, CRP Automotive brand manager. “However, it’s important that when replacing the bolts, technicians must make sure the bolt is not coated. A coated bolt could create a no-start scenario caused by an improper grounding of the starter.”

Rein Automotive starter bolts are produced by an OE manufacturer to ensure proper fit and performance. They are available for 2006-2013 BMW models including 128I, 323I, 325I, 325XI, 328I, 328XI, 330I, 330XI, 335I, 335XI, 525I, 525XI, 528I, 528XI, 530I, 530XI, X3, X5 and Z4.

All Rein Automotive BMW starter bolt kits are packaged with instructions that include torque procedure to ensure proper installation.
