Inteva Products Named 2017 GM Supplier Of The Year

The Tier 1 supplier has been recognized for performance, quality and innovation.

Inteva Products, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier of engineered components and systems, has been named a 2017 Supplier of the Year by General Motors. The award was presented during GM’s annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony held Friday, April 20, in Orlando, Florida.

Inteva was one of 132 suppliers from 17 countries to receive the honor this year for consistently creating outstanding value, bringing new innovations to GM and exceeding expectations for quality, execution and total enterprise cost. Inteva provides GM with instrument panels, door trim panels, floor consoles, roof systems, latches and Inteather TPO material solutions.

“This is an opportunity for General Motors to honor those suppliers who are truly the best of the best,” said Steve Kiefer, GM senior vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. “The automotive industry is transforming at an incredible rate. The relationships we have with our supply base mean everything when it comes to delivering a strong vehicle lineup today and the cutting-edge vehicles and mobility services of tomorrow.”

Inteva’s CEO and President Lon Offenbacher, Sales and Marketing Vice President Gerard Roose and Senior GM Global Sales Director Pat Eckhout were on-hand to receive the Supplier of the Year award.

“It is an honor for Inteva to receive this prestigious recognition,” said Offenbacher. “It demonstrates Inteva’s relentless commitment to exceeding our customers’ expectations, and is the direct result of our talented women and men coming together to create outstanding innovation and value.
