Nokian Tyres North America has been named one of the 2018 Best Places to Work in Vermont by Vermont Business Magazine and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. The statewide survey and award, managed by the Best Companies Group, is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Vermont, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses. The evaluation process is comprised of two steps and the results are broken down into three categories: small, medium and large businesses.

Part one evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. Part two of the process consisted of an employee survey, which measured the employee experience.

“To be recognized as one of the best places to work in Vermont is a significant milestone for Nokian Tyres,” said Tommi Heinonen, head of Nokian Tyres North America. “Our employees are the backbone of this company and go above and beyond every single day to ensure customers’ needs are fulfilled. We are honored to have received the validation of our employees’ passion for the company and will continue to work hard to remain among the Best Places to Work in Vermont.”
