Daimler Brings Australian Dealer Principals To Peach State Truck Centers Forest Park For Elite Support Dealer Visit

“These dealer principals from overseas haven’t been introduced to the Elite Support certification program yet, and it was great getting to open their eyes to the benefits this program can do for a dealership or dealer family,” said Rick Reynolds, Peach State Truck Centers president and dealer principal.

On Thursday, March 15, Daimler Trucks executives brought a group of dealer principals from Australia to the Peach State Truck Centers location in Forest Park, Georgia, for a presentation on Elite Support, as well as a tour of the facilities there.

“These dealer principals from overseas haven’t been introduced to the Elite Support certification program yet, and it was great getting to open their eyes to the benefits this program can do for a dealership or dealer family,” said Rick Reynolds, Peach State Truck Centers president and dealer principal. “We were able to show the group what our Forest Park location looked like before Elite Support changed the way we did business, and it’s night and day. We love getting to show off what this program has done for our culture here at Peach State.”

Reynolds, as well as other members of the Peach State leader team, met with the visiting group in the training building of the Peach State Truck Centers Forest Park location to give them a lengthy presentation on the benefits of applying continuous improvement principals to a dealership. Following the presentation and lunch, the group was given gift bags and headed down the hill to the shop for a tour of service department. During the tour, the Forest Park service staff answered any questions the group had about the Elite Support process and its applications to the service operations.

In addition to the Australian dealer principals, members of the Daimler Truck and Bus Australia were in attendance of the meeting. Daniel Whitehead, president and CEO of Daimler Truck and Bus Australia; Justin Whitford, director of sales, FUSO; Michael May, director of sales, Mercedes-Benz; Stephen Downs, director of sales, Freightliner; Gregory Lovrich, director of parts and service; and Stacey Davies, program and activation lead, rounded out the group of Daimler executives.

“Our visit to the Peach State Freightliner dealership during the Australian and New Zealand Elite Support study tour was extremely informative and educational,” said Davies. “Our dealers network left feeling optimistic and excited about the future of Elite Support in Australia. They were able to see first-hand the benefit of implementing Elite Support and were inspired by the work of the Peach State team.”
