Scrubblade Earns Frost & Sullivan 2018 New Product Innovation Award

While other premium blades are designed for the exclusive purpose of removing water from a vehicle's windshield, Scrubblade's design features two rubber blades with individual functions: one blade removes bugs, dirt, dust, pollen and bird droppings, the other sweeps away remaining residue and moisture.

Scrubblade, developers of the patented multi-function wiper blade, has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan as the 2018 New Product Innovation Award recipient for the North American Automotive Wiper Blade Industry. In comparison to other major wiper blade brands, Scrubblade’s design outperformed even its most expensive and prominent competitors, according to Frost & Sullivan.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as Frost & Sullivan’s New Product Innovation Award winners this year and believe it is a true testament to our hard work and leadership in revolutionizing the wiper blade industry,” said Billy Westbrook, founder and CEO of Scrubblade. “Although we’ve been in business for about 10 years, our patented blades have only been available commercially for three. In these short three years, our product and brand has gained a loyal following with long-haul truckers and many off-road enthusiasts and racers. We can’t wait to see what the rest of 2018 has to offer.”

While other premium blades are designed for the exclusive purpose of removing water from a vehicle’s windshield, Scrubblade’s design features two rubber blades with individual functions. The leading blade loosens bugs, dirt, dust, pollen and bird droppings, containing hundreds of raised triangular ridges to help loosen the debris, while the inside trailing squeegee blade sweeps away remaining residue and moisture.

Apart from its innovation, the key to Scrubblade’s leadership and success is addressing a core consumer concern regarding vision and safety when behind the windshield, Frost & Sullivan noted. By listening to the consumer, Scrubblade effectively created a wiper blade that cleared the vision area of not just water, but also debris, unlike its competition. Scrubblade ltimately adds a level of functionality to the wiper blades category that others can’t. Because of the company’s adherence to its core values and goal to offer the consumer a better vision experience, Scrubblade has experienced a year-over-year growth of more than 300 percent.
