AVS Debuts 2017 Challenger And Announces Its Supercharged All-American Car Sweepstakes

The Challenger was unveiled at the SEMA Show along with seven other vehicles making their world debuts, as well as more than a dozen new products for the Jeep, truck and car markets.

AVS, a provider of automotive exterior accessories for trucks, SUVs and cars, has launched its “AVS Supercharged All-American Car Sweepstakes,” highlighted by the unveiling of a one-of-a-kind modified wide body 2017 Dodge Challenger at the 2017 SEMA show.

Accompanied by seven other vehicles making their world debuts, as well as more than a dozen new products for the Jeep, truck and car markets, the Challenger was unveiled at the Lund International booth. Taking the wraps off the vehicle were Sam Mahdavi, host of Velocity Network’s “Sam’s Garage” and “The Lund International Truck and Jeep Show,” the AVS “Dream Girl” and members of the Lund International team.

Built by Mahdavi himself, the 550-horsepower Challenger HEMI Scat Pack Shaker edition has been equipped with an all-new AVS body kit that includes bolt-on fender flares, rocker panel extensions, rear spoiler and front splitter. It also has been equipped with an AVS Aeroskin hood protector and Tail Shades blackout taillight covers. All of these new Challenger parts also will be offered to the public for those who want to build their own version at home.

Added power comes from an Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger and improved sound comes from a Magnaflow stainless exhaust system. The Challenger sits on MHT Rotiform 22-inch forged wheels wrapped in Toyo Tires, covering a set of high-performance StopTech Brakes. A Hellwig Suspension Products front sway bar was added to keep the Challenger planted through the corners, while Ringbrothers custom hood pins keep its hood buttoned down at higher speeds, says the company.

Additional exterior upgrades include an AMP RESEARCH Fuel Door, custom undercar lighting and a billet grill. The interior received a custom Katzkin interior to complement the bold orange exterior, according to the company.

For an opportunity to win this one-of-a-kind Challenger, fans can access GetAVS.com and enter daily through March 31. The winner will be determined via a lucky key event in June, at the conclusion of the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour.
